- User Content: Audio, video, or text shared during video chats with other Users.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we automatically collect certain information to provide and improve our services:
- Device Information: Model, operating system, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV for iOS, AAID for Android), network information, and battery level.
- Usage Data: Actions within the App, such as swiping behavior, call duration, frequency of use, and features accessed.
- Temporary Session Data: Anonymous identifiers to facilitate video chat connections and matching, which are deleted after your session ends.
- Location Information: We may collect approximate location data based on your IP address to improve regional matching. You can disable this by restricting location permissions on your device, though it may affect matching accuracy.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We do not receive or collect information from third-party services unless you explicitly authorize such sharing, which is not required for App usage.
1.4 Phone Number Collection Disclosure
Wazz does not collect your phone number to use the App. If we introduce optional features that require phone number collection in the future (e.g., account recovery, security alerts), we will obtain your explicit consent, encrypt your phone number during transmission and storage, and never display or share it without your permission.
1.5 Device ID Collection Disclosure
We may collect unique device identifiers (including IDFV for iOS and AAID for Android) to authenticate devices, prevent fraud, optimize performance, and conduct anonymized analytics. You can limit ad tracking and certain identifier uses via your device privacy settings. Device identifiers are retained for up to 90 days and are not sold or shared for marketing purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information

- To facilitate video chat connections and match you with other Users based on shared interests and preferences.
- To improve the App's functionality, including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and feature development.
- To enforce our User Agreement and prevent fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activities.

We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, which is not required for App usage.
3. How We Share Your Information

- With Other Users: Audio, video, and text shared during video chats are visible/audible to other participating Users. No other information is shared with Users.
- Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud hosting, video chat infrastructure). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it solely to provide services to us.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of other Users.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction, with notice provided via the App.
3.1 Right to Know About Data Sharing
You have the right to know whether and how your personal data is shared. You may request a detailed breakdown of any data sharing practices, including the categories of data shared, the purpose, and the names of third-party recipients. - No Discrimination: Opting out will not affect your access to free features, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

- Disable Optional Features: Do not enable any optional features that share information with other users (e.g., contact linking). If enabled in the future, you may turn them off at any time.

- User content (audio/video from chats) is not stored by us, as chats are not recorded unless a User violates our policies (see Section 4.2).

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- End-to-end encryption for video and audio chats to prevent unauthorized access.
- Secure storage of data with access restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Regular security audits and updates to address potential vulnerabilities.
While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4.3 Legal and Aggregated Data Retention
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics (e.g., usage trends) may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
- Certain records may be retained longer if required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., audit or regulatory requests).
